WIN A BOOMERANG!

"The boomerang featured is 19" ( 48cm) tip to tip. Made from 6mm- 12 ply aircraft grade plywood. The unique design was incorporated for two major reasons 1) an overall different look 2) to affect a solid and balanced flight. The added weight to the elbow through the fancy design forces the centre of mass or the point of rotation (as the boomerang is in flight) closer to the elbow or crotch section of the boomerang thus allowing for a better wing efficiency. The wing ratio (width to length) has been calculated to accommodate the mass rotation. The result is a very stable boomerang that is nicely wind resistant and creates a stable 40 to 60 yard ( 36 to 55 meter) flight." This boomerang is shown with the optional inlay of exotic woods. The winning boomerang does not have the inlays.

We have produced nearly 180 designs of boomerangs and throwsticks over the past 20 years. As we design new shapes and flight pattern boomerangs we require new names for them. We are now giving the public a chance to WIN! the first produced boomerang from our continuing list of new designs.

When we have completed and tested a new boomerang we will feature it on the right side of the page. the boomerang size, shape and flight characteristics will be described. Below will be a FREE entry form for you to complete and email back to us with your chosen name(s). You are allowed to submit no more than two names.

Your name will be held in confidence until a name is selected. All entrants will be notified and the winner will be placed on our site. You are allowed to only win once every 6 months.

In the case of identical names or names that are so similar that the author feels the names could be construed or perceived as one in the same the author will make the final decision based on date received or the author will reserve the right to place similar or identical names into a draw container, mix the names and draw one name from that container. In the event no names are appropriate the author reserves the right to apply the authors made up name to that boomerang.   The Winner pays for shipping.
